I am very pleased to announce the merger of Salsa International with You Should Be Dancing...! Dance Center effective January 2012. We look forward to giving our SI family a lot more options in the coming year.

We are doing something very special for the SI community. We are offering an exclusive 30-day unlimited package, a package at more than 50% off the regular You Should Be Dancing...! price so that you can make the most of your first month in our new home. This is the only YSBD...! Unlimited plan on sale anywhere and it will give you the opportunity to sample all of the classes that interest you. To put this in perspective, a 20-pack group class package at YSBD...! costs $315. Once you purchase the package, you have 6 months to activate it. You must take classes at your appropriate level (only), and you must not have been registered with YSBD...! for 3 months prior to your purchase. In January, Salsa International instructors will be teaching on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesdays and Fridays. Please look at the When page for our classes. You can also take a look at the YSBD...! January schedule http://www.youshouldbedancing.net/ for a sense of all of the other classes that will be available to you. Salsa classes 6 days per week, all styles Monday through Sunday!

The levels will be comparable to what we teach now, however a quick shout out to our Basic students - - in January, please come to Salsa Level I (and Intro on Fridays). These SI classes will have a second teacher in the room to separately bring you up to speed, as needed. We will always maintain our level of dedication to your strong foundation.

Any dance that you will find in a Latin dance club, you can learn with us. We teach NY style salsa on2, the dominant style here in NY, as well as Cha-Cha, Bachata, Merengue & Cuban Salsa. We also offer classes in Rueda de Casino, an interactive group dance of Cuban Salsa, which is danced on1 to Timba music. For those of you who are newer to salsa, we encourage you to try all of the rhythms early on. Take full advantage of the unlimited package detailed above.

Please note that the phones are NOT manned 24/7, we use an answering service, but we are returning calls each day, typically between 10 am and 6 pm. If we need to leave you a voice mail when we call back, we will make sure that it is as detailed as possible so please feel free to ask your question.
